Unsycned OneDrive - why can I still access files?

OneDrive files are still showing under recent on File Explorer even if I clear the search history.I have uninstalled OneDrive, yet there is still a link it seems. Why is this and how do I remove them?When I open file location it takes me to the online location of OneDrive on Chrome.Thanks!
