Whenever I try to install a new software on my brand new laptop, a window pops up telling me "to continue enter an admin username and password", and there is no YES button

On this pc there is an account already, which isn't mine (the pc was bought new from a store). I tried using WinRE to add another account and give it admin's rights, but I coulcn't even click on add account. To be honest I couldn't even click on the other account that is active (but apparently doesn't have administrator role). I don't know what to do, can somebody help me out? Thanks!
