Seen a Shared drive on my computer that i didnt share. What kinda power does this allow to occur... then how can i prevent this?... then lastly should i just reinstall windows ?

I am using controlled folder access protection. i was going thru the blocked actions and i noticed something that said localhost//blah blah blah. So i then took the file name and stuff copied pasted in search... it then revealed the shared drive. So as im now concerned i removed access. and naturally stopped sharing this drive. WHICH WAS MY C drive... when i did this it stated that 2 users were connected do i want to do it anyways. so i did. My question is do i need to reinstall a fresh copy of windows? or can i just use recovery and basically wipe everything but keep my files . or is gettin
