Alt + Tab has input lag in keyboard and mouse for around 10 seconds after returning to fullscreen game

Whenever i return to a game in fullscreen after alt tabbing i have a slight keyboard and mouse delay for around 10 seconds (so if i press the WASD it will move a few seconds later). I have tried disabling fullscreen optimization, turning off hardware acceleration gpu scheduling and I am aware borderless fixes the issue but in some games I like playing full screen since it allows me to play in different resolutions. The above fixes i mentioned did not work for me. Much help will be appreciated. I am on 24H2 version of windows 11.
