Delete Full Folders From OneDrive

I want to do a simple deletion of all my files on OneDrive to free up space, I don't understand why this seems to be impossible, I'm not going to buy more storage, I just want to delete folders with millions of small files in them and it won't let me do it.I get a an error saying that 'the attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold' I can only delete 200 files at a time this would literally take me hours to do, for the love of god I just want to use my email again!
