How to fix error 0x80070035

[Windows 11]

I am trying to access files in my pc from my laptop, which I had no problem opening before. But after the last update, I was getting error code 0x800f081f and the system is asking for my "network credentials. I have tried changing the credentials to match both computers but that didnt work. I have also tried running the Media Creator Tool (MTC) as instructed in this post https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-can-i-fix-windows-11-update-error-code/cf655f2e-5f6f-4098-a650-ec761a65b39f but it did not resolve my problem.
