My System sound is always loud when I control it with the f7/f8 key or even using sound panel.

when i play games or listen to music or do both i reduce my volume so it does not disturb others. i use the f7&8 key which reduces the system volume. but recently the keys reduce the system volume but my sound coming from the speaker produces the same sound at level 100 to 1 (which is very loud) and mutes when it goes to 0. but when i connect my earbuds then the sound int he earbuds is completely fine
