When I plug my laptop into a new outlet, I am unable to proceed for 2 hours. How can I eliminate this software handicap? Never lock me out or ask for log in again.

Working remotely. I type my pin in and am immediately logged out for two hours. I would like to be logged in 24/7. Please make your OS work with laptops. My laptop uses multiple outlets and internet connections. Is it User Error when a laptop is powered off and unplugged when changing locations? Or is this an engineering issue?
