When I plug my laptop into a new outlet, I am unable to proceed for 2 hours. How can I eliminate this software handicap? Never lock me out or ask for log in again.

I'm working remote and have to unplug my laptop between uses. I also need to connect to the internet via a browser. How can I remove this handicap? I am typing in my correct pin, but it immediately locks me out of sign in for 2 hours because of laptops mobile nature. I would like to use my laptop from multiple outlets and internet connections with my PIN, or no security. I'm not sure what the engineers think 2 hours of waiting is accomplishing.
