Download speed capped at 2MB/s

I've been having an issue with my download speed for a while and I'm seriously getting tired of it, especially since it seems like it's getting worse.Months ago, whenever I would download something big (like installing a game), my internet speed would be capped at 5MB/s. This happened one day just out of nowhere and I wasn't able to fix this issue so I just lived on with that. But recently, I noticed that instead of going at 5MB/s, it's now only going at 2MB/s. I tried some solutions I found on Reddit and here, but at best I was able to get is to go at 3MB/s. I'm getting desperate for a better
