There is another open question for this problem by another poster whom I responded to, but that question only got a little over 200 views in over a month. So, I created this one with more detail in the title. This has happened before in 2022 and it was fixed by Microsoft after more than 9k views in a couple of days.The update will not install on Windows 11 24H2 in S Mode. I suspect it's because the .exe fails in S Mode. Tried resetting Windows Update with Power Shell and installing the update by temporary disabling of S Mode via the option 7 in reboot trick.
