I updated to windows 11 and never received a 48 digit recovery key. Can I use a windows 10 professional recovery flash drive to get past the bitlocker screen without losing my data?

Can I use a windows 10 professional recovery flash drive to get past the bitlocker screen without losing my data?I cannot find the device on my Microsoft account. Its a Dell 1700 Inspiron. I've learned that I can't register this computer and I need to get into the computer.
