Does a Windows update make you return your hardware? From what I read on Reddit, I saw someone like me who used a Creative Soundblaster AE-5 Plus return their sound card. I am trying hard not to curse the update you are going to make. What kind of a company can cause such a failure after a quarter of a century of experience? After the update was completed this morning, my sound card stopped producing sound. I had been using my sound card for 1 year under "speakers" via optical output as 5.1. Similarly, my third-party applications and games were providing 5.1 sound output without any problem
