Losing personal files from a windows.old folder after Windows 11 24H2 update

HiI completed a Windows 11 update (24H2) today and since then have not had any access to my personal files on the laptop. I cannot see them in my File History back up either.Due to previous issues with Windows 11 when I had to reinstall Windows, my personal files are held in a folder starting c:\windows.old\Users\Ian\ etc.When I noticed the issue, I initially thought that Windows had somehow removed access to this folder for this user, but I only have one user and it has admin rights.
