I have an old monitor (max. 1280x1024 @75Hz) with VGA and DVI ports on it and used it with an HDMI - DVI cable for a while. Now, after the 24H2 update the monitor says, "input signal out of range" when it is connected to the HDMI port on my laptop. In display settings I can change anything it still won't work. The desktop signal changes but the active signal will not and remains in a resolution the monitor can't work on. (1920x1080) Literally, Windows 11 can't identify the monitor as before, it just says "external monitort" instead of the exact type of it. What could have happened?
