unlink device from Microsoft 365 account

I have my daughter's old laptop. It is still linked to her Microsoft 365 student account. I want to (1) unlink this device from her account and (2) add this device to my own Microsoft 365 family subscriptionUnder my daughter's Microsoft Account, there is no option to Unlink or Remove this device. There is only an option to Disable Lost Device which only applies if it's stolen or missing.Under my Microsoft Account, I am unable to Register This Device. When I enter the service tag (serial number), it says "We didn't recognize this serial number."If I reset the laptop will it remove Microsoft 365
