Unable to backup single files from Window 11 device to WD Storage device

I have a WD 'MY BOOK Live Duo. On my old Widows 10 PC I use it to support backup and it also allowed the rest of the family yo browse so that they could look at photo's and watch films. Since I moved to a new Windows 11 PC I can no longer move single files to it. Thoughts???
