Recovering lost photos of my departed mother from 'Phone Link'

Somehow very important photos (of my departed mother) have been deleted from my mobile's gallery. I had deleted them from google photos to empty space, but did not expect this. My "phone link" app (probably from Microsoft) showed the deleted photos momentarily when I opened it, but immediately disappeared. How can I recover those photos? Please help.
