Windows 11 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Ran chkdsk /f /r/x from my user file but got message that it could not run because something else was running (did not copy the exact message). It also said it could run after the next restart which I said yes and restarted. Displayed : “Fixing (C:) Stage 1…” with the % of files checked, Total and ETA (over 32 hours!). I let it run overnight and now at Stage 5, 32%, Total 44% and ETA 18:39. Can I cancel (how?) and what and how should I run after the next restart?Thanks for the help!View the full article Quote
