My laptop came with Windows 11 installed on a 1TB drive and an empty slot for a second drive. I installed a Samsung 2TB in that second slot. Went through Disk Management and initialized that drive, assigned name and drive letter no issue. About 2 weeks later I decided I want to go with a Samsung 4TB in that second slot to future proof my laptop. I never even transferred one file to the new 2TB SSD drive.I pulled the 2TB drive out and stuck in a 4TB drive. No issues booting up, writing this message on the laptop.
