Clock watchdog time out BSOD crash on Aorus laptop when gaming or gpu benchmarking test

My Aorus 15p YD laptop has been crashing with a clock watchdog timeout BSOD error when I try to play games with high graphics settings or run a GPU stress test with msi afterburner. The CPU temperatures get to around 70-80 degc and the GPU temps in the 70s-80s with hot spot temperature from 80-low 90s degc. I have tried undervolting using msi afterburner and downloading the gigabyte control center app and trying the gaming fan settings and that has delayed the crash somewhat but I am still have the BSOD error.
