Mouse pointer moving on its own to the left after leaving it on sleep and everytime i have to restart my laptop to get rid of the problem

lately my mouse pointer has been moving to the left on its own even after updating the drives and performing clean boot and making specific changes in the mouse settings its still been moving .its such a frustrating situation as i have to restart my computer everytime to get rid of the problem and yeah the problem mostly occurs when i leave my laptop in sleep .
