How can I automatically set display setting to "duplicate"?

When I restart windows or turn off and on a monitor, the display setting resets from "duplicate" to "extend". Is there any way to force it to keep the setting for the 2 monitors or perhaps automatically set it to duplicate after a windows restart or after the monitor(s) have been turned off/on?
