Bitlocker Recovery Key

I created my Microsoft account three years ago for Minecraft and used my old phone number. Now, I purchased a Lenovo Windows laptop and they are asking for my bitlocker key. They said I need to access my old phone number to get my key for me. I got a new phone number a year ago, so I change the phone number on the account to the current one and now I have to wait one month to access my bitlocker key. How can I avoid waiting this month? I’ll do anything including delete my data because this is my first Microsoft account and I’ve barely used it.
