BITLOCKER RECOVERY KEY

I was trying to update my computer to the newer version but i turned it off before the update was completed so when i turned it on again, it did not work at all.i thought i could just reset it to the previous version, therefore i started the process but now it's asking me for a bitlocker recovery key. i have followed the Microsoft job aids found on the website on how to retrieve the bitlocker key and it prompts me to go into my Microsoft account linked to my pc. i did that but unfortunately when i log in into my account it says there is no bitlocker key associated to my account.the pc is brand
