How to get my usb boot to be able to help install windows 11 on my PC.

I am trying to install windows 11 on my PC after having corrupted files. The flashdrive is a USB which I have made into a boot drive but when I use it on my PC, I am told that "disk 1 partition 1" cannot have windows 11 installed onto it. When I click for further details, A window pops up saying "The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, the operating system can only be installed to GPT disks. Setup does not support config of or installation to disks connected through USB or IEEE 1394 port". What does this mean? And how would I proceed to sucessfully install Windows 11 on m
