Fixing my mic to pick up my voice,but its picking up my friends voice in discord instead

So my mic will not pick up my voice and when I do tests it doesnt pick it up. BUT when i was in voicecall trying to fix it i noticed the bar showing the voice volume level was moving when my friends were speaking in discord,but nothing for me. Ive trying updating,uninstalling drivers and nothing at all. Never had this issue before
