Guest Cybermom Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 The "Updates are ready for your computer" yellow shield in the lower bar keeps popping up even after I have supposedly just downloaded the latest updates. Plus, the updates that say are being downloaded, but they only show file sizes of 0 mb being downloaded. So, it looks like none of the updates are actually taking. If it might have something to do with my Internet security software (Trend Micro PC-Cillin 2007), tell me how to fix it! This has been going on for several months now.

Guest Getting tired of MS... GR Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Thanks for the FIX... I'm trying it now.... and it worked... should I keep this feature enabled? Also, do you know how to disble MS Messenger from opening when I don't use it and never will. It opens while working in Excel or Word and when I try to shut it down it states other applications are using it.... "Ottmar Freudenberger" wrote: > "Getting tired of MS... Please feel free to start a new thread in the newsgroup which deals with the Windows version you're using. Bye, Freudi
