Red dot with X showing in a lot of updates...

Even if I retry download, no luck...

In the Home PAge, it show that I have lot lot of "Update Files Needed" under

the "Status of Dowloads"

Synching goes wel though and reports success...

I previuosly ran wsusutil on our production server that downloads directly

from MS Website...What is weird is that my test server, which dowloads

directly from MS Website as well is experiencing the same this although I

have not run the tool on this one.

Is there something I missed? I'll appreciate it a lot if someone can assit

me in clearing these red dot with X from my updates list in both tet and prod

servers.

Thanks,

Newbie

Actually, in this case, the Red button is neirther left or right clickable...

This red buttons with x inside it shows on each update when I am viewing the

Updates...

In the homepage, it shows 120 updates needing files.

the dowwnloading portiong is at 62,000.33 of 69.000 and seems to be stuck in

there...

I did WSUSUtil.exe deleteunneededrevisions on a different server (prod) but

for some reason, the same symptom happen even on the test server...

Both are synching directly from MS Website...

Thanks :-)

Ehm, I may have missed that, but you're talking about WSUS?

If true, feel free to start a new thread in the WSUS newsgroup.

That can be a symptom of a misconfigured popup blocker...

Did you mean it should be turned off?

Currently, on and off are my only options in the Pop-up Blocker in IE.

Thanks :-)

Turn all popup blockers off, as a test.

FWIW the only one that I know anything about is the IE built-in one

which would allow you to filter on site name once it was turned on.

However, I don't think the built-in popup blocker causes your symptom.
