Hi!

I was trying to update Windows XP 64 with SP2 and I have some problems doing

it. In the midle of the update (when it was installing UNIDIR.DLL), the

update stoped and there is a warning sign "Acess denied".

Can anyone please help me?

Thx,

Grega

What happens if you download the update executable and install straight from

your hard disk drive?

Hi!

I tryed to install from hard drive and it was the same. Access is Denied.

I allso try with this ("Access is Denied" installing Windows XP SP 2

http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/acdensp2.htm) and when I try it with another

account, it was the same. And then I tryed to enable verbose logging, I colud

not find Error 5: Access is denied in file setupapi.log. I enable verbose

logging in regedit, try to install SP2 again and I did not find Error 5:

Access is denied in setupapi.log. When I look again in regedit, the "verbose

logging" value was set to 0.

Any help?

Thx, Grega
