Windows could not search for new updates Error # 8007000B

Yesterday Microsoft support told me that it was because I did not have a

valid License.

Today it suddenly validated (it was a Microsoft problem) and I have a valid

license and it still will not update.

I tried running fsutil resource autoreset c: and rebooted, that did not help

I tried renaming the Software Distribution folder and creating a new one and

that did not help

I tried emptying the update cache and that did not help

I have Windows Ultimate 32 bit

I am not on a network

I would really like someone from Microsoft to help.

Thank you!

Albert

Maybe I was not clear. I tried that as well as the other items I said and I

tried them again. They do not work.
