Guest johns Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 lAutomatic update today told me 2 updates were available. I clicked to download and instal and one completed successfully. The other named as XML Core Services 4.0 for SP" (KB936181) appeared to download and instal but keeps reappearing supposedly as a new update . In addition, since this problem began IE7 keeps "encountering a problem" and closing down.. Does anyone have any idea what exactly is going on. I have not installed or donloaded any other program for a long time. -- Johns
Guest Kenneth R Martin Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I too received and installed some updates today. Ever since my computer, which was working good, is really hosed. IE7 has not worked since and some other programs, Rhapsody for one, don't run anymore. I also have difficulty in logging off or restarting.
Guest johns Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I have emailed Microsoft for suggestions to solve this but so far received no response. If you do come up with the answer please let me kpow -- Johns "Kenneth R Martin" wrote: > I too received and installed some updates today.
