I am unfamiliar with Win2K but why not uninstall IE6 in Add/Remove?

You should have the option to "Restore the previous Windows

configuration", which will take you back to either IE5.5 or IE5.01

I assume IE5.01 is your base version according to How to Determine

Which Version of Internet Explorer Is Installed [Q164539]

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=kben-us164539

If you go back to IE5.01, then install IE5.5 SP2 from here (not

checked lately)

Old IE versions.

For IE5.5 SP2, you can get a CD here for $3.29
