Guest Llew Ralph Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Using Vista Home Premium I am getting a taskbar notification 'Windows can't check for updates' If 'Check for Updates' is selected an option to 'Install new Windows Update Software' is presented. If 'Install now' is selected an error message is returned 'Windows could not search for new updates. Errors found Code C0150004' Inspection of the Event Log reports the event ID as 4375 with the message 'Windows Servicing failed to complete the process of setting package WUClient-SelfUpdate-Core (Feature Pack) into Default(Default) state' I would appreciate any suggestions how to overcome this issue. TIA
