Guest MK Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I am using a software which uses MS access 97 format files. My system has win XP and MS office XP (2002). The software was working fine with this combination. I updated the system with win XP sp2 and now while opening the MS access files with the software an error message "Perhaps it is not an access database, or it is already in use?" is displayed. All these access database files work fine in MS access. I tried installing the software on different computers and if the computer has win XP sp2 then the error is displayed while opening the files with software. The software works without any error with WIN XP sp1 even with systems having MS office 2003.
Guest MK Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 One more thing...when I try creating new database files with this software it now gives a message "Error creating new database: out of memory."
