Guest kjuice Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 last shut down i went out with "install updates then shut down". today i get on and have notice that changes occured and I must register windows within 3 days. is this normal for the last update? or is there somthing else going on?

It can happen sometimes if windows update installed a hardware device driver. Simply reregister and everything will be ok. In the future, do not install hardware drivers from windows update. Instead, visit the website of the hardware manufacturer and download the driver from there.
