how can i up grade from service pack 1 to a service pack 2

I need to up grade my windows xp, i have the service pack 1, but i don't know

how to up grade it to the service pack 2, i tried the update, and i

downloaded the service pack 2, but i can't install it, I get and error saying

that at a minimum i need sp2 installed in my computer for the update...

Go to:http://www.microsoft.com In the R.sub menu select:Microsoft Update

Update will install it for you,or order the cd from microsoft,or go

to:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=049C9DBE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en
