I'm trying to complete the installation of an update for "direct x version 9"

from the Windows Update Website on to my Windows Millenium computer. The

problem I keep having is that after downloading the update, my computer

prompts me to re-start and download seems to disappear. Would appreciate any

input.

Thank you,

1. Did it install?

2. If not installed, try a manual install-

Note the recommendation - We recommend Windows Me and Windows XP users turn on a "System

Restore" point before installing.
