Guest hspgapsemc Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I am missing the HOSTS.sam file. There is a IMHOSTS.sam file. Windows Update has been unable to run and I think its because I am missing the HOSTS file. What would be the best method to correct this problem. Thank you.

No, that is not the reason that WU will not run. There is no HOSTS,sam file on my system, and WU runs just fine here. So, keep looking. Jim
