Guest getalexfr Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 i've just noticed that an update has been installed, SINCE i have had this problem: the windows malicious software removal tool -september 2007 (KB890830). This was intalled on 16/09/2007. Thought this might be worth mentioning in case it helps determine which files are corrupt. eg is that update something that can be detected via a different route than windows update, which is still giving me the same error (80070424) and not searching for updates. -- getalexfr ------------------------------------------------------------------------ getalexfr's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=30456 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=814712 http://forums.techarena.in
