I am unable to get out of Windows live. How do I get out?

What details? I signed in to my hotmail account thru Windows Live and now my email won't close. I sign out of Windows and its still there. I close the page and open it back and there is my email for anyone to see. I am in a community type computer room

and can't leave it like that. How do I get it to close? Been trying for an hour.
