Windows Security Center won't start

  "Windows Security Center service can't be started"
   
  
• Your operating system and version: Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1
  
• Your browser and version: Mozilla Firefox 16.0.2
   
  
• Any software or hardware that you recently installed or removed: None
   
  
• Any recent changes that were made to the system: None
   
  
• The things that you have already tried to do to troubleshoot the problem: I have run multiple malware scanners and I have run "sfc /scannow"
