Just downloaded windows xp 2000 service pack 2,why can't I run windows updates?

I bought windows xp pro a while back,the pc I have had is damaged so I downloaded windows on another pc,I am having trouble running windows updat and keep getting "The website encountered a problem and cannot display the page Error code 0x80244019.Please

help me.
