I have 2 failed windows 7 intalls taking up 35 gig of hard drive space but I cannot find any windows

I have 2 failed windows 7 intalls taking up 35 gig of hard drive space. but I cannot find any windows.old files?

The first instal failed as I had a counterfeit copy of windows 7.

I bought another copy and installed. I then got a horrible virus/worm that disabled all .exe files and the fix was just beyond me!

I installed again but did not realise that the previous installations where still there.

I have tried the disk clean up but i never get 'previous versions of windows' to clean up.

I cannot find any windows.old files. (Enabled the hidden files)

I only have a 60gig ssd hard drive and would like the missing 35gig kindly returned for use.

Can any one help?
