Administrators AWS Posted November 23, 2012 Administrators Posted November 23, 2012 I'm a new Windows user, having crossed over from Macintosh. I have everything up and running on my new laptop (email, network, apps, etc.) and I installed virus protection. My only problem so far is trying to update Windows. I'm getting an error message, 80240440. I ran a checked and two items were identified and corrected, but it didn't resolve the problem. I've tried several times during the past few hours and still can't seem to get Windows updated. Can anyone offer a little help? What might be preventing the update? View this thread
