empty deleted items folder

Hi I have been trying to empty the deleted items folder in windows for the last couple of months. I have asked the question before, but being a "computer language" novice have not understood the answer. I honestly have no idea of the internal workings of the comp or how to find things.

Any helpwould be appreciated ....
