Administrators AWS Posted December 12, 2012 Administrators Posted December 12, 2012 As of the last four or five days I've been getting a flag saying cannot install updates. Error 8024402F. Nothing I've tried will fix it so far. The windows Update screen tells me there have never been any updates to my computer which is clearly nonsense as this is a three year old Toshiba Tecra with OEM Windows 7 Professional. I've tried installing Explorer 9 as on some blog it was highlighted as a missing Active X component that needed MS Explorer but neither that or any of the other fix it sub routines seem to have any effect.
