Windows 7 Home Premium auto update has been going all day. Seems to be stuck on installing 10 of 14.

Went on PC this morning. Noticed when I shutdown that it was going to auto update. Got home this evening to find auto update still on installing 10 of 14. What shall I do. It is Window 7 Home Premium. Hope someone can help as it says do not power off!
