Vista service pk2 keeps crashing after streaming vidio or media player... even after i used a codec

This happens quite frequently and gets worse.... as I try to do streaming vidio. The system crashes and it will restart.... but I get no feed back from microsoft....even after several updated crash reports. Seems Vista gets more unstable as time

wears on . Only was installed 2 months prior.... I've tried restore points to no avail. I've tried all kinds of microsoft fix it solutions...Still no help. This is a true licensed copy of Vista by Microsoft.
