Windows 8 restarts to install updates during use

One of my laptops running Windows 8 Pro x64 keeps doing automatic "update installation" restarts even during use. I know there are some features that have been added to insure updates are done within 72 hours, but based on my readings I don't think it

should be doing that in the middle of active use.

 

 

What was happening at the time of restart:

 

 

Girlfriend was using iTunes actively and listening to music.

 

 

Any thoughts on a good way to fix this? Or is this even a known issue?
